Paddle attempts were pretty comical.

I wonder about the whole idea of towing slabs on days that people are paddling. I mean, it's one thing when it's huge or the lineup is shifting around a bunch, but it looks pretty fucked up at breaks with tight take-off spots. One of the "ours" videos I've seen shows a ski weaving through the pack. Seems like someone is going to get run over by a ski and die sooner or later.

I was talking about socal standups and how they talk all this n that, know the latest materials and technology into surfboards, know kelly slaters moms birthday, and the perfect direction for teahupoo, but they cant surf for shit. talk talk talk...plus all the old goofs sd and oc are flooded with, sittin right next to the takeoff packed like sardines at those bullshit "reefs", shoulderhoppin blowing it. seems their out only for a little convo with buddies. Any real standup that can bottom turn a steep slab, and hold his line through the shocky, you wont hear them blowin up surfin and they have a mutual respect with us boogs. especially in spots in oz or hawaii, besides kook bra girlz.

This wave has been in booger videos for nearly 3 or 4 years now. The Tamarama crew of Bunting, Ohana and Marquina have been there so much that they labelled it "Tama reef" in magazines.
